Running a business is never easy and especially during the COVID pandemic, but these are the times when you must work even harder and that’s not always possible for every business due to restrictions.
At Avonmore training Solutions Ltd we empathise with those businesses that are struggling to survive and fully understand what they are going through in such hard times.
At the start of the pandemic like all businesses we were closed until the government give the approval for First Aid training to go ahead, but even for us there was so much to be put in place before we could even open the door.
However, we have continued to move forward and with the support of both Lisburn and Castlereagh Council and SERC who have supported us through ZOOM training, we have managed to keep the business growing.
What have we achieved in the last year and a half?
We have developed more online social media advertising, we have increased our sales of medical equipment through our web site, we have supplied our customers more Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s) and first aid kits than the previous year. Most of all we have continued to develop our customer base and continued to work along with the clients we had before the pandemic.
At Avonmore Training Solutions Ltd our aim is to continue to offer our customers value for money and at the same time continue giving our customers a first-class service.
We have added new courses to our portfolio including First Response Emergency Level 3 and Level 4 and we have added a new associate to the business who is a qualified paramedic to deliver these courses.
We have also added Avonmore Junior Responders, a first aid programme for kids teaching them first aid. This course will be delivered by Hannah Walsh and Lauren McCrea both qualified teachers and First Aiders.
We have taken on board the urgency around mental health and for that we have added several new Workplace Mental Health courses. These courses will be delivered by yet again another two new associates to our business.
We are adding Workplace Health and Safety courses to our business over the next few months again delivered by our associate trainers.
We have added over 100 new CPD accredited online eLearning courses covering Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Soft Skills, Emergency First Aid, Mental Health, Food Safety, Business Compliance, Safeguarding, CQC Required, Care Essentials, Clinical & Specialist, Hospitality, and Education Essentials. Our objective is to make these affordable as possible to again assist our current clients and our new clients going forward.
We are always happy to talk to or assist any other trainers who may want to come onboard to deliver other courses through our business, all be it accredited or non-accredited. We have moved into our new training premises in Bachelors Walk in Lisburn and this will be our 3 month there now and the feedback has been great.
At ATSL we will continue to look for new opportunities, we will continue to listen to our customers needs and we will continue to offer a first-class customer service. Or objective going forward is to develop our business more in the northwest of Northern Ireland. This is only possible with YOU the customer, so from all at ATSL we would like to thank you for your continued support, or if you are reading this and have never done business with us before, we thank you for taking the time and encourage you to give us a call, as we are always happy to discuss your individual or business need no matter how small your requirements are.
