Catastrophic Bleeding
Control severe bleeding and perform lifesaving interventions in trauma scenarios.

Spinal & Pelvic Immobilisation
Practice proper helmet removal and immobilisation techniques for neck, spine, and pelvis.

Environmental Exposure & Burns
Manage patients affected by burns, cold, heat, or hazardous environments.

Minor Injuries & Poisoning
Treat minor wounds and respond to poisoning or intoxication incidents.

Incident Reporting
Understand how to document and report prehospital care incidents correctly.

Duration: 5 Days (35 hours + 118 contextualised learning hours)

Location: Delivered at your premises across Northern Ireland

Qualification: QA Level 3 Certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF)

Certificate Validity: 3 years

Accreditation: Ofqual regulated and endorsed by The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care (Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh)

Pathway: Part of the progression route to QA Level 6 Diploma in Paramedic Practice
